ACC SUPPORTED CONTACT SERVICE

Building Better Futures in Dudley, West Midlands

Our accredited Supported Contact service in Central Dudley, West Midlands helps children stay in touch with parents, if trust has broken down or communication is difficult.

Parents do not have to meet, and several families may use our facilities at the same time and in one space, but they are supported by our fully trained staff and volunteers.

Supported Contact requires no formal supervision and no mandatory report is required. Supported Contact is for those families with little to no risk or safeguarding concerns.

Children and young people from separated families can really enjoy contact time with a non-resident parent or other family member.

Our centre offers a child-centred atmosphere that helps to build trust and confidence.

Some families need support with contact arrangements following separation, especially when the child has not seen one of their parents for a while.

Child Contact Centres help families to re-establish and maintain consistent contact which they can sustain for themselves and into the future.

We also offer a sliding scale for referrals received from professional organisations, including charities and courts, and from individuals who are either in employment or not working.
